Beaches Turks AI vs another resort on Turks HELP PLEASE!!

Recommended Posts

Thanks, for the encouragement.  Yes, it will be there loss just takes some getting used to on my part.  I am thinking of just having my oldest son who will be 13 and my oldest daughter who will be 20 walk me down.  My daughter is supposed to be bridesmaid or matron of honor but she insists on walking me down if her brother will be.  I  have to decide on that. I would much rather have my dad give me away.

We are going to order our save the dates too.  I noticed that it can be pricey but I don't know that I can do them myself or the invitations for that matter.  I think maybe I will try and experiment and have a great back up plan.  Look forward to seeing your picture tomorrow.  I think I have seen some of her work on one of the boards maybe this one not quite sure.

Not to discourage you, but I thought that this by far was the most crowded resort on the island. Although I can see the appeal of an AI because meals and drinks on the island are expensive, this is the one resort my husband I and I said we would never stay at because it appeared to be a mad house. Every other section of the beach in front of all the other resorts even the one near the reef were so much more quiet and peaceful, but people were packed into the stretch in front of Beaches. It reminded me of Waikiki. And we were there before school let out.

But Grace Bay is stunning in person (gorgeous waters and soft flour like white sand) so you really can't go wrong anywhere you stay because you'll be in paradise.

Oh Wow, really? I didn't get that feel from the past brides. Most reviews said that it was large enough to not be over croweded. I hope this is the case.

I decided on Beaches as well, my original date was March 27th, I booked a year in advance, however the Resort sold out. I had to switch dates because most of my family hadn't booked yet. I am now set for March 6, 2013. My original date was during a school break, so I guess that is why it sold out so fast. I am glad that I had to change because sounds like the resort will be packed that week. I was told the WHOLE resort is booked, including the Governors Suite.
