Personally, I have reserved our date at our resort, and we have a reservation booked at a resort for our second week.  I have not yet booked flights, or booked our stay at the wedding resort.

 

I have my dress, but my fiance doesn't have his suit yet.  My sisters have ordered their BM dresses.

 

Other than that I don't think I have anything else accomplished.  Am I the only one that still hasn't booked trip and flights?

Hi Dina !! Booking our flights was the first thing we did.  I then worried about the rest.  It's probably risky that way but I had browsed through the forums here to help me figure out roughly how much a wedding were to cost me.  Our first deposits were due last week and although some people are going with the "last minute deal" route, we have a solid 15 people booked for our trip and we are also expecting people from Florida and south america to join us.  I bought my dress a week ago (I thought it would take me months, but it only took me 2 outings! ) and it should arrive in July...then get my first fitting...I'M SOOOOOOOO EXCITED TO WEAR IT! lol Oh we also booked our photographer last week.  Now in the process of looking for a videographer. I have my OOT bags already being worked on...just got to work on decor..but I have plenty of time to look around for deals.  I dont think I'm looking for BM dresses just yet...Do you know when abouts you will be booking flights?

I got in touch with the resort first and then booked my flights and then confirmed the date! Our deposits were due at the end of January, we skipped STD and sent invitations in November... We have 49 people including us. I got my dress the end if November and it should be here the end of April. My FI ordered his suit from Studio Suits and it came last week its perfect, so the GM are getting their pants there as well. I have laynards and pockets for room card and tip holders but havent done them yet, and have luggge tags but havent done that yet either, I am stuck with bridesmaid dresses I want orange and cant find them so I am holding in cae I have to change my colours, I am going looking today so fingers crossed! Once I get those I can keep going with everything else. The onky worry I would have about flights not being booked is that a week before our deposits were do, our flight was sold out... My TA thinks that it may be another wedding and they are holding 90 seats for that group and they might become avaliable agin but still glad I booked when I did. Its good to see where everyone is in planning Im relaxed that I dont seem to be very far behind!

Honestly, I want to book my flights ASAP.  But the cost of our package just went up by about 400-500$/pp.  I don't really know what to do.  I am ok with paying a bit extra for our trip, but I am worried about our guests...

I sent out STDs two weekends ago and haven't gotten much response from my guests.  Since I don't expect many people to come, we can't take advantage of a group booking and therefore everyone will have to book on their own.  It's stressing me out quite a bit to be honest!

Are you on a website for your guest to go to? 

Also i found that emailing them one on one to see if they can RSVP by a certain date. But as always people can be so rude and not respond. I feel that is rude.

To my November sister brides -  I just ordered a bunch of stuff off Vistaprint for Free....just paid $10 for shipping to Canada.  I got:

 

*250 business cards - didn't personalize them just made it generic for the Key Holders..I'll give 2 per room

*100 Post Cards - to give to my guests to send back to Canada

1 T-shirt for moi

25 Magnets for Shutterfly  (gonna try and order another 25 tomorrow)

1 Pen for moi

140 Address Labels

1 pk of Sticky Notes for moi

Rubber Stamp - Thank You, and our names..I dunno what I'm going to use it for but it was FREE, lol

I can now officially say that our trip is booked!  Yipee, Yahoo!  I am honestly walking on air right now I am so excited (and so relieved!) to have the flight and resorts booked for my Fiance and I.  AND we managed to stay on budget.

 

So, the big question, November Brides, is what do I do next?
