Dyed Crinolin and TTDS

Have any of you gals dyed your crinolin and then had a TTDS? Did the dye run onto your dress? Any comments about this would be great. I saw pics of one bride who had dyed the crinolin the same color as her color scheme and it looked awesome. Thought it would be neat in the TTDS.

Hhhhmmm ... unique idea. I would dye mine champagne to match my dress trim. I wonder how you dye crinolin? Is it easy to do?

I think you can just use normal fabric dye. Maybe the brand is Rit or something like that. i know at walmart you can find them with the laundry detergent. i just don't know if the color would run or not in the water after.....

I have never heard of dying the crinolin (to be honest, I didn't really know what crinolin meant until just now)... I feel like its just like fying any other article of clothing. If you use a bright color, chances are that it's going to run if it's not washed a few times before hand.
