There is a groupon today for Princess lingerie!

$40 for $80 worth of lingerie. I haven't gone in to inspect the quality or see what the prices are like though...

I just got a quote to alter my wedding dress. $450!!! I think this seems pretty high... I am getting it shortened, but it is a simple hem, That charge is $200. They are also taking it in down the back, charge $200. Plus adding in cups for $40.

 

Is this aroudn what you guys have been quoted? any other places in Edmonton I should go?

Update: I was referred to a tailor who specializes in wedding dresses and does alterations for 4 bridal shops in Edmonton. Her quote was $120! Whohoo! Shame on the dress shop tailor for gouging brides!

Can I ask where you ended up taking your dress? I know I'm gonna pay at least $400 for my tailoring at the dress shop. It's really frustrating because I was so caught up in the moment, I went along with ordering the sample dress size like the sales lady recommended. I thought about it afterwards and it was definitely a moneymaker because I should've sized down! I wish I would've known better.
