Vegas Wedding Chapel Recommendations?

Recommended Posts

I too would definately recommend the hotel wedding chapels over the outside chapels. But if you really want to go outside, the first 2 mentioned are decent. One is at one end of the strip and the other is farther north past Stratosphere.

I just got back and have some info and picks from the Mandalay Bay chapel. If I can figure out how to post them I will :)

If your family will not be attending (or any one else you want to participate) the Little Chapel of the Flowers by far has the best offer. They will post you wedding on their website simultaneously and for up to 1 year after along with your pictures if you want. You can send free invitations by email or print the website on the invitations. No password required. They have the best pictures.

My package is going to run about $1300. This includes the ceremony and flowers (although I'm bringing my own), 14 candid ceremony photos, 1/2 hour photo shoot on the grounds with 12 photos, extra 1/2 hour on the grounds to take pics with family, 16" cake, limo to and from, 3 1/2 hour trip to the Valley of Fire to take photos and 1/2 hour picnic lunch, 2 CD's of the ceremony.

If you haven't looked at it or decided, check them out

They'll also let us incorporate a handfasting and write our own vows!

I agree that the hotel chapels are great, but the ones on the Strip are VERY expensive and VERY VERY limited as to what you get for photos. We do a lot of work with Texas Station both for photography and disc jockey. Their photo package has a nice package of prints but also you can purchase the disc for A LOT less than the strip chapels (some of them charge up to $1000 for the disc!) Texas station has a VERY nice chapel and Zulma is great. The food is very good and the reception rooms are beautiful. Best of all, it's not on the strip but only about 10 minutes from the north end of the strip.

We also just started working with Joyful Hearts Wedding Chapel. They aren't quite as nice (decor-wise) as some of the other chapels BUT they have a unique mission: their profits are funneled into a local church that does a lot of good work and outreach to homeless and under-privileged people here in Vegas.
