Stuck!

Hey Ladies,

I feel very stuck (and lazy) I have about 18 days left with Insanity and I'm just not feeling it anymore...I was doing it religiously the first month, but now I feel lazy and unmotivated.

I go to the gym every morning and I do insanity at night, but I'm finding myself skipping parts and fast forwarding other parts.  I always fast forward the stretch since I don't see the point, but seriously why am I struggling with month two so badly?  My plan was to take a week or two off before starting it up again after I finish the initial 60 days.

Anybody else feeling this?
Thanks :)

Hi there!

I haven't ever done Insanity so I can't specifically speak - but I think a good trick is to not think about it as the last 18  days but to reset and think of this as day 1. This will give you the energy and spark back when you first started the program.

Give yourself maybe a day or two to not think about it and really get your mind cleared. This will allow you to get back in the game and feel excited about completing the last 18 days.

Don't beat yourself up over a couple of days. Your motivation will come back! You can do it!

GIRL!!!! get it together!!!! 18 days left??? that's nothing! you may have hit a rut, so you might need to change up the workout a little.  Why don't you do something fun...like zumba, or a pole dance class. but with 18 days left, you can't just stop! remember how you were in the beginning! you made it this far! come on! be our inspiration.  I can't wait to have 18 days left in my workout (looking bomb-diggity!) It means you've put in so much work, and now you're in the home stretch. LET'S GO!!!! not to mention you have a DRESS and a BATHING SUIT to be ready for. goooooo Kim81! you got this!! woop woop! (most of this was said in my billy banks drill sargeant voice)

I think that if you are having a hard time staying motivated – get some good music that really gets you going, set a reward for yourself. You have to be able to see the results for yourself and know how things are changing, otherwise people have a hard time staying focused on what they are doing.
