Royal Playa Del Carmen 2013 Bride!

Hi all,

 

I have been following along for a while, but finally decided to become an active chatter as I have found so much helpful advice in planning my wedding from afar here! Here are a few deets about my big day:

 

Date: January 18, 2013

Location: The Royal Playa Del Carmen (I picked the Royal as it is part of Real Resorts, which offers three different levels of accommodation for my guests - and I have stayed at their sister property, the Gran Porto Real in the past).

Guests: 50-100

 

The rest is still TBD, although I am headed to PDC for a site tour and tasting in a few weeks! Wish me luck and let me know if I can help any of you!

I am planning my wedding for around that time. Just trying to figure out pricing and what week is best for us. We can't have the last week of January as the brides sister is already attending a destination wedding that week. The Royal has been recommended to us over and over. 

 

Can you give me any insight into how much your guests are paying and where they are traveling from? My guests will be coming from Toronto and Vancouver mostly. Trying to keep it under $1500 per person including transfers, flights and all accomodation. Am I being unrealistic?

 

Your help would be greatly appreciated!
