Wow all these colours are beautiful! Almost make me re think our colours!!...I need some input the bridesmaid dresses are going to be a light lilac with white flowers and my fiance will be wearing white tux top with black pants... now we do not want the groomsmen in white but we think lilac on the guys may be too much purple...what do you think of light gray shirt for the guys with black pants? open to suggestions :)

If you're not going to put the guys in white shirts, you may not have a lot of options.  Light gray will probably be your best bet to incorporate your colors.  We're doing coral and dark gray, with the girls in coral dresses (knee-length) and the guys are in white shirts and dark gray pants.  I want to match the boutonnieres for the groomsmen with the dresses for the bridesmaids and have my FI's boutonniere match part of my bouquet.   I like the lilac and gray together, though. :)

I am kind of all over the place with colors. I waffle between wanting fun, bright, summery colors like lemon yellow and lime green and turquoise, and more muted tones like purples, creams and greys because that's more me. I feel like I should go bright since it'll be springtime, on the beach and in Jamaica, but I keep finding myself drawn to purple things. Like this bouquet (it's actually paper!!) that I saw in an Etsy shop.

OMG.. I LOVE that bouquet!! Paper? How awesome!!..

hehe.. I'm beginning to think we are more alike than I thought.. My first choice of colors looked just like this bouquet minus the dark purple.. This color theme screams Jamaican though!!..

I ended up also going with pink and orange since we were doing a destination... no wedding other than a DW can get away with such crazy colors. :o)

Yep, paper!! Here's the designer's website: http://www.loveleeflowers.com/wedding.html

You are right about the pink and orange being perfect for a DW. I love that combo too! See? All over the place!

I've seen some really nice photos of purple weddings for destination wedding.  I think it's pretty and the cool colours are nice with the ocean!  There are so many different tones of purple.  You could go with a mauve or something on the more neutral side, rather than bright purple.  Look how pretty this is :) ....
