Wedding colors

Hey Ladies!

As a destination wedding bride, it was very difficult for me to narrow down favorite colors for a palette. I wasn't completely sure what I wanted beyond a beach chic look. I ended up having my bridesmaids wear turquoise dresses and added pops of colors with the flowers and the men's ties. Now, I get to work with brides choosing these delicious colors and I LOVE seeing them in photos and of course the jewelry! I'm attaching some great images below to help show what these color variations look like with a paradise background! Hopefully they help a little bit when it comes to envisioning what things are going to look like :-)

I see my fiance wearing grey suit, and was thinking maybe blue/orange or orange/pink would look better for beach. It's hard to picture it.

How did you pick your colors? Any advice?

I think those colors are different and bold. I found a palette for it and it's beautiful. I'd go with a nautical theme since you have navy blue and add silver as an accent color.

actually you also use white as an accent, either would work perfect.

You hit the nail with that one. Once I saw that, I was in love with those two colors. But we have recently decided to go with watermelon pink and orange instead, going with tropical colors.

My color are seafoam green and palm beach coral with accent's of metallic silver. I also love the color combo flame and aqua or poppy and aqua. Those were actually in my list of colors but the FI loves orange, so I got the closet to orange without doing orange.

I like your colors! Good choice.

Right now I only have pink sashes for chairs. The rest of the colors I plan to bring out in flowers and decorations. I'm still debating pink and orange, haha. I was thinking of getting pink, orange and white paper lanterns.

thank you! my favorite color is green so we did a variation of both our favorite color. I have seen the pink and orange on here with other brides and it's beautiful, so you will have a lot of inspiration from other brides. If you are still on the fence about it, I would do a side by side look at palettes and see which on you absolutely love. Even walk away for an hour and see which one still gives you the WOW factor. This is what I did decide on which variation of greens and oranges I wanted and the one I picked always gave me the wow factor.

Hi Ladies!!

From a photographers standpoint, we absolutely love vibrant colors, it's always so much fun to see what our brides are coming up with for color combo's. Last year I swear we had three weddings in a row that were navy blue and pink!  For the beach I think that navy blue with pink would look great but I would definitely consider adding some yellows or oranges to make your colors really pop against the sand/ocean.

One of our brides recently had navy accents but all of her flowers were orange and pink. I thought it was stunning (her wedding was on a farm but I think the colors would work equally well for a beach)!

Another one of our brides who got married in mexico chose yellow and blue

We just recently shot a wedding where the bride had chosen yellow and grey, pictures are still being edited but I have to say this is one of my new favorite color combo's.

Pinterest is such a great (addictive, be prepared to give up hours of your life) resource when comes to details/colors etc...
