Cabo Wedding May 2013

Hi Everyone!

I am newly engaged and planning a Cabo destination wedding.

I have narrowed down to three resorts: Dreams, Riu Palace and Barcelo.

If anyone has any information on any and all of these resorts, it would be greatly appreciated. I am having a difficult time choosing between all of these since they are all so beautiful!

I can't speak for the other two but I just had my wedding at the Riu Palace last week and it was beautiful!! I posted pics on a thread that I posted 30 minutes ago. Please take a look.

I went past Dreams few times on my way to excursions and when we picked up few people on the way to the airport. One of the things I did not like about it was that it was 15 - 20 minutes away from the Riu (closer to the airport) which made it further way from the Marina, Arch, Lovers Beach, downtown...so 30 minutes away.

You can't see the arch from Dreams...I got married on the beach and that is what I wanted in my background.

So, you just have to weigh the things that you want and need and go from there.

Hi Angela, Congrats, I also am a May 2013 Bride. I have chosen the Riu Palace based on a few things:

1) Location- as the other poster mentioned re: downtown, Lover's Beach, the arches, airport

2) Reviews from personal friend and this website

3) Most importantly: Cost for us and the guests. Having never been there, It seems to me like there may be 'nicer' resorts, but not with a better location for the right price.
