I have to be honest in saying that I don't really like that fact that your photographer is so against the a 'First Look' shoot, especailly since you've shown interest.  I think this is a very special and intimate private moment for the bride and groom. Of the six photogrpahers that I contacted/corresponded with, I have never heard of the dark eye issue nor have I seen it in any of the the photos.  Additionally, there are many brides who get married in the middle of the day and have gorgeous pictures.

Onto your next question I think your window is fine for post ceremony pics. The only rule of thumb that I am aware of when it come to sunset it to schedule your ceremny no more than 2 hour before. Keep in mind that that there is still light in the sky for +/- 20 min after the sunsets during spring/summer months, so it won't be pitch black.

Thank you so much for the information.  I don't necessary want first look photos - I actually would like for him to see me for the first time when I  am walking down the aisle.  However, because we didn't do engagement photos and we are 95% sure we aren't doing TTD to save money, I really want some pretty beach daytime photos, not just sunset photos.  We are moving our ceremony to 4:30, which is two hours before sunset.  I hope it works out.  My thought is that it could be raining or dreary on our wedding day anyways so I might as well not think too much about it and not hire her to come early and then have it be the worst day outside for photos (hopefully this wont happen, hopefully it will be beautiful out, but at least this helps my thought process on this one).  AND, in the end, it will all work out because I will be married to my best friend (cheesy... I know).

Happy Monday!

Aww.. Super sweet of him!!.. Those are super cute!!  I was just thinking of this the other day.. So I made a shopping trip yesterday.. I was on the hunt for tank tops. I want a Bride one for me and Bridesmaid ones for my girls.. I found a lady locally that said she would rhinestone whatever I wanted for $5 each if I bring her tanks.. So I found an awesome deal!!. :o) Body Central has their stretchy tanks on sale for 3.99 and also buy one get one free.. So I paid $2 each!.. :o) I was thinking it would be cute for us all to wear these as we are getting ready. Plus I'm on the hunt for cute but thin knee length robes for a good deal.. and I plan to put they initials in rhinestones above the left breast. Tanks are black since I thought those are slimming on everyone, especially this girl right here.. And for robes I'm looking for white or pink. :o) and maybe some soffee shorts or something like that.. I thought that would also be super cute for us all to be matching in our getting ready pictures.

I defintiely have too much time on my hand... For the first part of the day I will be wearing this tank by Victoria's Secret paired with a white mini skit or shorts.  I found it for $12 on ebay:

700

And I haven't order it yet, but I will get a custom silk robe from this etsy seller http://www.etsy.com/listing/97220520/silk-satin-monogrammed-kimono-robe-in in colors that will match my wedding scheme and instead of the large monogram letters I will get a smaller font size with Mrs.....  I plan on wearing this after showering and for hair and make-up. But it should be noted that I plan on doing my own hair and a friend who is make-up artisit will be doing my make-up in my suite.

Don't forgot you need something button down or a robe so that when the girls get their hair done, it doesn't get messed up!  Where are you ladies looking for linen suits?
That's what I was thinking, and what's making it more difficult, I was thinking of getting a track suit like this one from etsy: http://www.etsy.com/listing/101580849/velour-bridal-wedding-party-hoodie-pant?ref=usr_faveitems The only thing with that is I don't know if the hood would be in the way while getting my hair done. And I'd most likely still have to have a tank top underneath it that would have to pull over my head. It would be much easier if I was getting my hair and make up done in my room...lol.

We went looking for suits the other day at the mall and were basically told they were out or season. I figure we can always go to the bridal shops in town but hadn't bugeted all that $$. We are probably going to order from studio suits. I have read decent reviews and my fiancé isn't super picky. As long as it fits he is good. And for 99$ill take the risk!

So I had to share this with you ladies because I saw it and immedatley thought of not only how pretty this would be but how much money you could save on ceremony decorations. Which by the way does anyone know if they'll let you bring your own stuff and just have some own set it out for you or will they charge you? They better not charge as much as we are paying to stay there and have a wedding! Anyways, I saw this on pinterest and it is perfect. It says it's time consuming but if it saves me hundreds of $$ for decorations I'm in. You could even take them and use them in your reception area.
