This is the link to the exact pair I got, they are really beautiful and match my dress perfectly:

The seller was Poetry Jewelry, everything arrived timely (all the way from Australia!) and nicely wrapped. I bought a matching bracelet to go with. She has tons of lovely pearl jewelry.

Soliciting your opinions please...I have my dress fitting this Saturday and I'm trying to figure out what I want to do with my sash.  It full of beads and crystals and very similar to what is shown in the pics but the embellishment will wrap all the way around my body and I want it sewn directly onto the dress so it doesn't shift.  Up until last night, I assumed it would be sewn around the natural waist, but after seeing a recent pic of a mermaid dress with embellishment at the empire waist (Kenneth Pool Romantic), I'm wondering what will look best.   I played around a bit, but I'm torn...Help?!?!

Yay for first fitting! I have mine Monday!

Thanks Ladies.

Iâ€m glad Iâ€m not the only one who is just starting the fitting process, I was starting to think that I waited too long. My seamstress advised that it would be 2-3 weeks for completion, and doesn't anticipate a 2nd fitting, but if it's needed then an additional 1-2 weeks  would be required.  I wanted to give myself ample opportunity to get my physique where I wanted especially since Iâ€m wearing a mermaid. But my alterations are seemingly minor/basic; I donâ€t even need my dress hemmed.

Etsy shop: GartersByKristi  She does all kinds of NHL, NFL sports team stuff!  I know you're not going with a garter, but just in case others are interested...

What about stitching your wedding date in blue thread under your dress? I also saw really cute blue crinolines on Etsy,

or blue shoes, or a blue rosary?  Pinterest has tons of fab ideas as well..

TOO CUTE!!! Altho wrong team ;) I'd love to wear my FI favorite team but just can't do it ---I'm an avid AVID hockey fan and our teams are the biggest rivals ...Bruins vs Habs LOL

Natural waist for sure. It makes your chest and waist look fantastic. That dress fits you like a dream!

I've had two fittings so far, with my final one next week! I'll post some pictures soon. We're in Vancouver right now and head back down to Mexico in a week and a half, with my finished dress in hand. (Plus 4 suitcases of wedding stuff haha)

I am having the same thing --my sash is all rhinestones and crystals and being sewn in ...I am doing the empire...but only because my tummy isnt the most flattering part of this body --I need to draw the attention more to my "girls" hahahahahahaha
