Hi there! This is all new to me, was just searching the site and saw your post! I'm also getting married on May 6th! If you don't mind me asking how far along are you in your planning? I'm starting to get a little stressed! I feel like I've got nothing done! Are to having a private reception? Sorry for all the questions but I feel a little lost! Thanks:)

Welcome! I am getting married May 9th! We are not having a private reception. We booked the beach restaurant just for a dinner I am having an at home reception. Planning wise I have sent out the announcements with booking info and the song I want played when I walk down the beach! Other than that the rest as been for the at home reception, I am assuming you are not having one if you are looking at a private one ayt the destination? I have the decoration package I want picked out but i was told she doesn't need the planning guide until a couple months before. I am kinda at a standpoint on what to do wedding wise now because I feel like there is nothing else I can do for it. Now the AHR is another story lol

  Wow - May is a popular month! I also feel stressed as I have not done so much. I have picked our ceremony, dinner and reception location and have booekd a photographer...also I recently found my dress...but other then that I have not done much. I keep thinking I have so muhc time, but times just seems to be flying by and now I have about 7 months and I really have to get organized!!

I see so many girls on here that are getting married after me and have done their OOT bags and all that type of stuff and here I am not having done any of that stuff - yikes!! Gotta get on it ASAP

I am glad that I am not the only one who is not completely on top of it with regards to my to-do list. I have booked the resort, picked a date, booked photo/videographer, and a few other minor details. But I still have OOT bags, decorations, bridesmaids dresses, my gown, invitations...ugh so much to do. I keep telling myself that I have plenty of time. But I think if I want to do a lot of DIY projects, I may need that time. At least STDs have been sent.
