I recently got engaged and our favorite vacation spot is Tulum (south of the ruins, not the all-inclusive side). We're considering a destination wedding there for 60-80 people. However, we have NO idea what a true budget would be and if we could afford it. Would any of you brides be willing to share your budget breakdown and info for Tulum weddings?? We would love to keep it at or below $15,000 for everything; ceremony, food, drinks, music, photographer, flowers, dress, suit, the whole nine yards!

Thanks for any information you could give.

Hello tmdavis13,

Congratulation on your engagement, Riviera Maya has plenty of beautiful beaches who offer custom made wedding, you dream becomes a reality . Now that you have a budget set, remember that almost 50% of the budget will go towards your reception/ceremony food and drinks. Then almost 12% for photographer. The rest will be for flowers, cake, transportation and favor etc.

If you have any questions feel free to ask and I will be happy to answer

Happy planning!!

Joyce

Hey tmdavis13,

Anything is possible! It just depends what you want to have there. We are guessing 50 people and the all in is going to be $21K. Quite a bit more than we thought in the beginning but with help from the parents we're happy. We did splurge on the photographer so that is a big chunk, but just feeding and boozing people costs a pretty penny.
