Marival Residences & World Spa Brides

Recommended Posts

I've searched and could not find a section for Marival Residence brides so I thought I'd make one.  Having received the 2012 Tripadvisor awards for #1 all inclusive in Mexico and #2 all inclusive in the world, I'm hoping this hotel may see some more action on this forum.

My wedding date is booked for 12.13.13.  I've had AMAZING contact with the wedding coordinator, Yanira.  I mean AMAZING.  I've spoken, or attempted to speak, to so many coordinators at other resorts and have not had the kind of response and attention that Yanira provides.  We sometimes will speak 4 and 5 times a day w/ sometimes a less than hour turn around!!

Any other Marival Residence & World Spa brides out there, or am I all by myself?

I thought I'd share the information that I received from the Marival Residences wedding coordinator.  You can see that this applies to the Marival Resort as well.  What I really like about this place is that they don't charge you per person over x amount of people.  We are planning to have around 65 guests join us for our big day and the fee per person after 10, 20, or 30 people was really adding up!  Let me know if anyone has any questions!!

Our travel agent was just RAVING about this resort when we spoke last night on the phone. We were thinking of a June 2013 wedding and I have been nonstop researching this resort. I wish someone would post about their experience there. Trip Advisor has nothing but awesome reviews...I saw one, but they only stayed 2 days and didn't let any of the staff know their problems. Things happen. We were originally going to get married in Riviera Maya and have been researching resorts on that side. We wanted our guests to go on a Catamaran Tour and go see the ruins together on a different day. I am excited that Marival Residences has Tours Included with the all-inclusive so it wouldn't be an extra $75 for guests to join us on the catamaran. What else is there to do around Puerto Vallarta that would be similar to seeing the ruins. There has to be some history to indulge in somewhere, right?

We are booked for 5.31.13! I have not yet conversed with the wedding coordinator, my travel agent has done everything thus far. Does anyone know if there is a limit of how many guests you can have at the al a carte restaurants at the residences? Our guest list is getting quite large and wanted to keep the cost down. I know a sit down dinner is included in the package, but just wondering if there was a limit on guests in the restaurant.

Hi Rachel,

There is no limit on the amount of guest you can have.  There is an extra charge only if you decide to use certain restaurants or if you decide to have your dinner at the beach.  I think it's $40 pp if you decide to do the beach dinner.  I hope this helps.
