Our wedding is Valentine's day,and I am still so unsure about why they sent us a menu to choose from if we are having the dinner at the carnival which is buffet?As well if I bring my iPod for our songs during ceremony will they have someone to play them?or do we have a guest do this?I am finding communication slow,and even when they answer they are not understanding the questions,so it takes 2weeks and many repeat questions to get any answers:(

If your reception is at Carnival they will still do a set menu for the reception. I believe you can do a buffet if you have 50+ guests. From what other brides have told me they will play the ipod at the ceremony for you, but I will have a plan B in case that doesnt happen. If you read this whole thread there is a lot of really useful information and a lot of your q's will be answered. Its a bit of a long read but worth it for all of the great insight! hope this helps

Can any brides let me know how long it took at the reception for the dinner service? I am just trying to plan for my timeline for speeches, garter toss, dancing etc. Thanks in advance!

You can get them from afloral.com but they don't sell individual flowers; they only sell premade bouquets.  They will customize them if you send them pictures.  I bought mine at Joann Fabric and Hobby Lobby.  I also checked out Michaels, but I wasn't really thrilled with the selection at that particular store.  They are pretty cheap, too, and are a rubbery texture so they feel real.  I bought all the stuff to make my bouquet and it will be less than $20.  I used white and pink/coral calla, and line green baby's breath for my bouquet.  I bought the ribbon in the ribbon section.  I will probably buy a different flower, maybe orchids, for the girls' bouquets.  I think the calla lilies were $1.99 each, but I got them on sale.  The only downside I've found is that there are a select variety of flowers available in the real touch.  I really wanted gerber daisies for my girls, but they don't make the real touch in that flower variety... which is why I will probably go with orchids.

How come it says under divine,silver dinner reception,and then further down it says platinum dinner reception?which is it?We booked the Devine package,but this makes no sense?!

I am looking at paper lanterns for the reception and am wondering if anyone's knows if they allow them, and if they can be hung on the wood above, I see fans, so I'm not sure.

I believe the packages used to be called platinum and silver but are now called divine and eternity. The menu is on the first page of this thread.

Yes,you are allowed paper balls.they will hang them where ever you want.

I had paper lanterns for our wedding. I was originally supposed to have our reception on the terrace and they will hang them for you however you want.

Yes they will have someone there for the ceremony to play the music for you.
