Yes I think she credits you less if you bring an outside photographer, which is what I was asking for. She said she would only credit me $150, otherwise I could use their photographer for a trash the dress or rehearsal dinner. I opted to just keep him since my outside photographer will be leaving half way through the reception. I'll probably instruct their photographer to get more photos of the family & friends during cocktail hour and reception since mine will be focusing on FI and I.

We had our reception on the terrace on 2/2/13 (my review is awaiting moderation). We had 53 people at the reception - four rectangular tables. The dancing was definitely tight, but it didn't stop us from having a great time, and I would say almost every one of our guests was dancing at some point. THank you soo much for the info!!! DO you have any pics of the set up so I can have an idea of what it looks like. There aren't very many pictures of the terrace set up. We are only having 32 people so I am hoping it isnt took squishy. How many people did you have at each table?? What did you do for your centerpieces? I am having a hard time figuring out tables.... Will they do round instead of rectangle? Do you happen to know how big the rectangle tables are? Sorry for so many questions!

We are wondering if anyone has had their wedding at the Now Jade resort but just went with the "Your Moments" wedding package?   We are looking for feedback from people that have also chosen this package and to see if they added any type of dinner or reception or cocktails or dancing, etc.?  We want to offer something to our guests and are looking for some ideas that we maybe are not thinking of.  Currently we are thinking of doing hors d'oeuvres the night before the wedding in the lobby bar area, then the ceremony the next day.  For dinner that night we are going to do a reserved area in the buffet so that our guests have options on food choices.  We are a variety of tastes in our group.  Then we are looking into having dancing on one of the terraces with a DJ.

 

Any tips, input, suggestions, or ideas would be appreciated.

My fiance and I went with the Divine package since we are only expecting 30-40 people, so I can't be of much help there.

Has anyone inquired about bringing an outside DJ or florist? Pilar just emailed me & she said there would be a $350 fee for each to bring them in! Why so much more than the photographer fee? And I also asked her about fake rose petals for the pergola & she said this is fine, does not have to be freeze-dried petals as was mentioned in a previous post.
