OFFICIAL NOW Jade Wedding Thread

Recommended Posts

Thanks for the info -- I completely forgot to get a price for this guest from Edmonton until he replied that he was so excited to come...hopefully he doesn't mind it will be a bit more!

I don't know for sure about the day price but I haven't seen anything that indicates different prices for wedding vs non-wedding visits.?

Question:  Does anyone know what the prices are for passes for guests not staying at the resort.  The wedding day pass is $55 per person, but is there different pricing when it isn't for the wedding?  I have guests staying next door and they are wondering what the pricing is to come over a couple different days other than the wedding.

Yay, congrats on your upcoming nuptials!

I do have one request. If you happen to take any walks along the beach it would be great if you can confirm where these abandoned house are located or if they still exist.  I have seen photos at this location from two previous brides, but I donâ€t think theyâ€re active members. One review (see link below)  implies that it's walking distance next to Now Jade. I also asked this question in the webinar, but it got directed to the coordinator for Now Sapphire, who obviously wouldnâ€t know.  I just think the location makes for a great backdrop for wedding photos, and I'm shcoked that other brides have taken photos here.

I asked the resort photographer about the abandoned houses and they told me there were not any in PM.

However, I requested to go to Maroma Beach for our TTD session since there is at least one there (I think its near Secrets Maroma).

I'll be down there in less than two weeks so I will let you know what I see and of course share some pics!

I didn't know which one to go with either as they both looked great and were pretty much equal for rooms, dining, bars etc.  Jade won out for a couple reasons though...

1. the adults pool at jade is 18+ vs at sapphire its part of the preferred club, if guests don't upgrade i don't want them to not be allowed to hang out with the others

2. there appeared to be more options for locations (of ceremony and reception) at jade, plus i LOVED the pergola

Hope this helps makes your decision!  Don't worry it gets easier after that, haha!!

It's official.  I got my email confirmation this morning from Pilar.   I will be a Now Jade bride.  March 9, 2013

I also tried on wedding dresses for the first time this past weekend.  I didn't buy but I fell in love with this one.
