Ours is the following Saturday, 11/16. :)  Congrats to you, too!   I picked 4:00pm for our ceremony because I was worried about losing the daylight.  I hear the sun sets really fast... but other brides have gotten married at 5pm and haven't had any problems, so I don't think it will affect your photos.  In fact, you will probably have some amazing ones with the sunset. :)

If you have any questions or anything else, PM me.  We can be wedding buddies.  Haha.

Wedding buddies it is:-)!! Lol, we tried to book the day of your wedding but could not get what we wanted. Same here, I have scoured this site and feel like I have so much info, that I feel overwhelmed!! If you have any questions, feel free to pm me, as I will you:-) right now I am probably being annoying to Pilar, because our photographer mentioned maybe having to use a flash for our ceremony and I'm freaking lol!

Hi, I'm new to this thread but I've been reading all the helpful posts. My wedding won't be until early 2014 but I have already started planning the little details. I have not seen anyone do this yet but I was hoping for some opinions. First off, does anyone know how much they charge for a floral centerpiece? Second, what do you all think if I used the bridesmaids bouquets as the centerpieces like in the picture below? Would guests think that's tacky/cheap?

I dont think it is tacky - with a DW it is not like you can take your bouquets home so make them work for you and pull double duty, we are definitely considering it too.  Many traditional at home weddings use the girls bouquets on the headtable so I think its a great way to do centerpieces for a DW, esp. if you only have a few tables.

I don't think that's tacky at al.  I've seen a lot of brides do that - use their bouquets for centerpieces.  It's all in what you prefer.  I'm buying the real touch flowers and making my own bouquets and bringing them down with me.  Otherwise I will spend all that money on flowers just to throw them away.  The real touch are cheaper and look amazing.  I'm bringing extra for our centerpieces.
