Hello all and congrats on your weddings! I just have a question I was hoping someone could help me out with. Did everyone get a receipt after they paid the deposit on their wedding packages? Is it something you need to confirm your date? I gave Pilar all my papers and credit card info. She wrote me back saying that I needed to sign the back of my credit card for them to run it and that was the last time I've heard from her. I noticed my date wasn't reserved on the calendar...no biggie...but I hear that everyone gets a receipt and it kind of makes me panic. They've charged me for it so I hope it's ok. I've contacted her many times but have yet to get a response over the past two months. I'm sure she's very busy but I still can't help but wonder. Also, do you have to bring your own decorations or do they have some? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you for your time and help! =)

Hi ladies - I'm also another Now Jade April bride --- April 26, 2013! Happy planning Jen & Cassidy  One of the photographers confirmed for me that sunset is at 7pm during that time of month.

YAH!!!  We have been confirmed for January 22nd at the Now Jade...so EXCITED!!!  Dokopal...Pilar sent me an email confirming our date and locations and with that is our wedding code and an attachment that we have to send to her 45 days prior to our wedding...I am assuming that that is our receipt!!!

Hello brides,

   I am just in the process of booking my wedding at the NOW jade for January 2013. I am also torn between what package to take. I have started with the Your Moments package because I might have more than 30 guests and with the other packages you have to pay more if you have more than 25 guests. Has anyone just went with the "Your moments package" and how did that work out? I feel like an all-inclusive resort I shouldn't have to pay extra to feed my guests! Does anyone feel the same?

"Devine Package includes 24 photos, upgraded photo package and wedding album"

 

Does anyone know what the upgraded photo package includes?

 

I think I am leaning towards the Devine package.  I like the idea of the live music at the ceremony but don't think I need the video.  Would love a copy of cd with more pictures.  I wonder if they will swap it out.

    I am also torn between which package to take. I requested the Your moments package, it seems a lot of people upgrade later. Has anyone actually went with the Your Moments package and how did it go?? I am expecting over 30 guests, therefore I feel that I would be spending a lot more $$ if I take the other packages that are for only 25 guests. Since it is an all inclusive resort, I was hoping to just get everyone together for the buffet and then go party at one of the bars after.

Congrats!! I am also in the same boat you were in. Waiting for my wedding confirmation! I sent the deposit already for January 8th/2013.

I am torn between what wedding package to take.

I selected Your Moments for now because I can always upgrade later. I have over 30 guests coming so I feel that I would be paying a lot extra if I take one of the other packages that are for only 25 guests. Since it is an all inclusive resort, I think I will get my wedding group together and go to the buffet after the ceremony and then to one of the bars to party after.

 

Anyone that has taken your moments package?? How did that go? Were there any extra hidden fees?

During the webinair Pilar said the upgraded photo package really just meant they were in a hardcover album.  I believe it is still only 24 photos you get....but from what I understand it is pretty reasonable to purchase the other photos (a previous bride said additional packages offered to her after picking her 24 photos ranged from 200-500 dollars I think.

The your moments package is only for 10 people and does not include any decor -- ie you would have 10 chairs set up and the judges table.  You might want to consider the costs for the set up of additional chairs etc.  Just a thought though
