We paid Lara @ Caribbean Celebrations $600 for the centerpieces, the single roses my bridesmaids held, and the two mother corsages. I gave her my budget and asked her what she could do for that price. she sent me back a picture, I asked for a size upgrade and she gave me the price. I had white hydrangeas in clear square vases with a blue ribbon around the vase atop a mirror and candles on the sides- that do not stay lit on the beach hahaha. She should have used the electric ones at least. My mother had these little blue lights but we forgot about them : ( they would have been great in lieu of the candles. 

 

As you can see- our decor was extremely simple. I wish we had the money to have something more elaborate. We bought all these cute things from Michaels that are still in my house. I should probably sell them now because we didn't take them. It was just too much. We took the bare essentials. We spent more on the decor for our AHR which I'm kind of regretting now. But we have 100 people going to that and only 37 went to DR. I;m pretty sure none of the 37 people (except my picky mother) even cared about the decor. And I was too busy dancing to care, but seeing the video I wish we had more personal touches added. Everything we forgot we are using for the AHR. 

 

We printed out on paper all the things we love about each other and had it framed. So in big letters it says HE and over it it has all the things I love about him and he made one for me that says SHE. I forget where I stole the idea from- the knot or pinterest but we left them here in NY We also left our table numbers, our guestbook, and the pew clips for the church which is why we couldnt hang up the fake flowers we had. OY! I'm a disorganized hot mess but even still- it came out nicely lol  If I had a wedding planer like Theresa I probably would not have forgotten but I couldn't afford her fee haha

I hear you i was thinking of switching and having Theresa work with us but unfortunately we couldn't do it. We did the love at first site and we would not be able to use the credit for that..

 

Yes i think coral and Aqua it is...i am thinking of having my girls wear both coral and some aqua dresses. Lets see how that plays out... i am thinking of having tall vases with white calla lilies and then have touches of coral and aqua...not sure if that would look good but also the price is probably ridiculous. lol Can i tell you we have not picked a package yet...this is friggin' crazy my fiance said we have to wait to see how many responses we get and i am like there is so much planning to do...omg. i dont know plus we really want the tailor made but heard there is a new package coming out.. we will see...

 

First is trying to get everyone to book. We just got our flights for 547 which is not bad but last week they were 486 and i am kicking myself for not getting them.... bummer.

 

Anyway i love the HE, SHE idea...i think that is so cute.

Ladies.....  we are here and our wedding was yesterday!!!  It was everything we had hoped for and more!!! I will post pics and details when we get home for sure....just wanted to let you know Massiel and her team were amazing!  The weather was gorgeous! and forget about my hair and makeup!  They did exactly what I wanted with my hair and my makeup was stunning.... I did chang e to my own lip color! lol I never never wear anything but nude lol!  The food was amazing with the chill out chic buffet and the setting on olympus terrace was breathtaking!  DJ was awesome!!!
 

We had a hiccup or two but honestly We just laughed and rolled with it....  so sad the day is over but actually looking forward to relaxing!

Ladies quick question for past brides. I was thinking about the chill out chic package and doing the add ons. How does it work when you pick a package and change the colors? Do you know how much they charge to upgrade or for the switch?

 

 

Liked the tailor made but thinking of doing chic and upgrading and adding on. It still would be cheaper....so finally convinced my Fiance that this may be the best option.
