Welcome to the forum Karen! I stayed at the Melia Caribe in Punta Cana last year when I went for a long weekend and loved it! Is it a big group of friends and family or just an intimate ceremony? Congrats!

Wow is all I can say! What a wonderful group of people here and very welcoming. Thank you all for your good wishes.

 

Our celebration with be with a intimate group of people, so far there are 7 friends and family that will be joining us. This is a second wedding for both of us and we wanted to go somewhere tropical this time around. We saw pictures of the gazebo at the Melia Caribe and knew that was the place for us.

 

I know this resort is large and I'm hoping that won't be a problem for anyone. Neither of us have been to Punta Cana before, we've been all around Jamaica and the Mayan Riviera, but thought we'd trying something new, I hope we like it as much as our other destinations.
