One month before wedding - dress doubt

Hi Ladies,

So, I've made it to a month before my wedding without any dress doubt, and now, it's starting to kick in. I just had my final fitting and I am finding myself unhappy with the way the dress looks after alterations. I guess there's not much I can do at this point. I was just curious if this happened to other ladies and how they dealt with it. I look through the forums and saw other posts on dress doubt, but not anything a month before the wedding and after the dress was altered! Any thoughts are appreciated.

I'm so sorry you're feeling this way Vanessa! that's definitely not the feeling you want right before your wedding

I was one of those brides that paid for my first dress and then two months before my wedding I got a new one, so I feel your pain.

Is there anyway you could go to the bridal store and see if you're able to buy off the rack? I know our local bridal store has a nice selection of dresses in many sizes that you can take home that day. Or David's Bridal?

In the end, you want to feel fantastic. Perhaps a different dress will do that, or maybe once the whole look is together (veil, shoes, jewelry, flowers) you'll feel beautiful and happy!

Thank you so much for the support! I realized that the reason I was not liking my dress was because they messed up the alterations (kind of silly, but after 8 weeks of alterations, I've had enough). I've gone through so much with that dress to get it right...I am just not quite sure what is going on. Needless to say, 3 weeks before my wedding, I am looking for another one.
