Advise please - fiance wants to hire his friend as the wedding photographer?

well at least its an exercise in communication! we've been pretty much on the same page for everything else so i guess we were bound to disagree on something. so far, we've got to him saying "fine, do what you want" but in a way that shows hes in complete disagreement and not happy about it. which makes me want to say he can use his friend

 

a compromise could work.. maybe if he shoots the civil wedding but not the catholic ceremony/reception. i shall put on my thinking cap!

This is a little tough but what I quickly learned when we first started looking at photographers is that guys don't look at pictures the same way we do. My FI felt like all we needed was some cameras on a table and someone recording us instead of professional shoots. It took a lot of explaining to get him to understand that the pics need to be professional and not pics taken from horrible angles.
