Need some feedback on my self-designed STDs!

Hello ladies! Would love some feedback on the STD that I just designed. We're having a shark-themed wedding, so I wanted to incorporate some shark love without making it look like a birthday party invite for a 6 year old little boy!

 

Because we're on a tight budget, I hit the drawing board (literally!) and came up with this after a couple weeks of trial & error and some botched designs. I'm only self-taught in photoshop and Inkscape (a FREE version of Illustrator you can download online!), so I'm not proficient but can still make changes. I'm pretty nit picky so I'm wondering if you could give me some feedback.. is there anything I should change/add/remove? 

 

Once finished, I will be sending these out via Postcards.com. They will even mail them out to each guest after printing, and it only costs $60 TOTAL for 100 STDs!!

I really love them...My favorite part is the two toned sharks. I like that you used two colors of orange for the text

This looks great! I think my suggestions would be to have 03.08.2013 (add the zero in front), and maybe give the "please join us in punta Cana" a bit of space, just drag that text down a wee bit

I agree with dragging the please join us down a little bit, it seems a little high. 

I also love the two toned sharks, however the date in the other orange is throwing me off.  Not sure why.  Maybe Punta Cana in that color orange instead?

Thanks for the feedback ladies! There was something just bugging me about the wording, so I changed the order around. I think it looks much better with the date at the end. I also put a very, very light darker green shadow on the island.
