Thank you gifts - what's appropriate?

Recommended Posts

A long time friend of mine is a graphic designer. She is the one who created my avatar, she also did our invitations, tickets for our stag and doe, labels for our favors and thank you cards. We paid for the printing but sheâ€s put a lot of effort into the design portion.

I want to get her a token of our appreciation but I donâ€t know whatâ€s appropriate?

I asked another friend of ours who is also a graphic designer but she told me not to go overboard and to get her something very small. Iâ€m really torn… she gets paid hourly for all her work and Iâ€m sure she spent a fair amount of time on my projects. I offered her money but she wonâ€t take it.

Any advise on what I should do?

you cant go wrong with a restaurant gift card, or a gift card or certificate for her favorite boutique or shop. or even a massage or spa day! if you give a gift card its not cash so she cant turn it down, and by picking a place or activity you know she would enjoy it shows that you appreciate her and know her well :)
