You won't be disappointed!!! We thought that 3 hours on a boat was too much..but it went by sooooo fast, and my guests told them to take them back out on the water! LOL! I wish we added more time it was so much fun!

 

 

I bought the blank chalkboard signs from tlgcrafts and the ones with words from lovinglymine, lovinglymine will put whatever words on there that you want, but we wanted the blank ones so people could add their own personal touches to them.

I am soooo thankful for your planning thread as I have been going back and forth on booking La Barcaza for the welcome dinner, but now I will be sure to book tomorrow (hope my date is still available). Also, for the great pics of your groom and groomsmen in studio suits wear. My FI is very skeptical about ordering his suit online, but I think the pics will sway him.

 

Will you please share who the seller is for your guestbook props? I must have them. LOL

The Elegance had better reviews and we heard if you stayed on the elegance side you could eat at both resorts, not the same if you stayed at the colonial.  I didn't get a chance to take a good look around the colonial, but from what we saw the elegance was more up to date and a whole lot larger.  I would definitely do the Elegance Club, we didn't because we wanted our guests to be able to come by at any time, we did get a suite and they honestly waited on us hand and foot.  They even dropped off a bottle of wine to our room every night without us asking/requesting.  Room service came to our room every day without us even asking or requesting.  The suite was the best!  I would definitely do the Elegance over the Colonial...but thats my opinion

Borrow away, we got ours from Vistaprint, part of the $17 for $70 of product, plus the www.vistaprint.com/groupon50, we got a lot for that $17

Steal away! Im glad to be some help to future brides!  On the other side we posted our shutter fly share site so everyone could see the photos that were taken with our Nikon D5100 for the whole week.

I was thinking of asking people to not post photos on Facebook as well. Neither my fiance or I have Facebook and we like it that way! We are having an At Home Reception and part of the surprise is showing off our photos, I'd hate to have that ruined.

Thank you for this thread! You looked so stunning! After reading your reviews I think I am going to try the  La Barcaza...for either the wedding or just a day trip. Was is much more costly? I will have to look up some more information on it. If you have any that would be great!

I never even thought of the AHR and ruining the surprise of pictures and how we look.....YIKES!!  I really need to rethink that. My entire family is on FB...and all my guests. I am planning on wearing my dress at the AHR too. hhhmmmmmmm.    Its one month later.
