Hi,

 

I hope someone will be able to help. I got engaged about two months ago and we have decided on a destination wedding, however how do I even go about finding a place and a location that will have what I want as far as venue and all the messy little details to doing this so far away?

Congrats on your engagement.  Now you need to decide on a location and a resort/venue for your wedding.  For us it came down to budget and what we could afford as well as when we felt comfortable asking our guests to pay to join us at our wedding.  Do a lot of research and consult a travel agent for information.  Make a list of what you want out of a venue, ex: all inclusive vs not, location of resort compared to airport, wedding ceremony and reception locations, cost of wedding packages, amenities at resorts such as adults only vs kid friendly.  Good luck!
