Torn between Moon Palace and Beaches Palace?

Recommended Posts

Any insight is greatly appreciated. My biggest concern is the water. I know that may sound silly but I have this vision of a deep turquoise and teal ocean on white soft sand....quite honestly it's the maker or breaker! It's been my lifetime dream for my wedding day.

honestly its the time of day and the color of the sky that makes the water the color you want. i dont think the resort has any control over the color of the ocean?

in my experience the mid to late afternoon ocean in cancun/riviera maya is that aqua/turquoise color i think you are after.

your photographer can also try to make the water look a different shade but if its the moment of experience you are wanting, i would shoot for researching what time of day the ocean has that vibrant hue you are wanting, and book your wedding time for near that.

A beach's sand as well as the ocean water along its shore is affected by its location. Otherwise, all beaches across the world would look the same when the sun is at its highest point over each beach. Based upon the pictures I have seen, the reviews I have read, and the advice from my travel agent, I recommend that you choose Beach Palace in order to have your desired setting. We originally chose Moon Palace for our wedding, but ultimately changed our minds when we realized we were sacrificing our first priority: the quality of the beach. Despite having many other things to offer, Moon Palace apparenty has an average beach, at best. Good luck in making your decision!

Thanks everyone, after all the confusion of having to start from scratch with my wedding plans, it turns out I was misinformed by the sales manager at Dreams Cancun about pricing so my wedding is back on there! Yay! Rooms booked, deposit down woot.gif
