Ceremony and Reception location!! HELP!!

Hi brides, brides-to-be, and wedding lovers,

My fiance and I are planning to have our wedding at The Royal in PDC since it's consistently been ranked as having the best wedding packages among the hotels in PDC.

For those who have had their weddings/ have attended weddings at The Royal, I'd like to ask for your advice on WHERE we should hold our ceremony and reception.

CEREMONY

I love the beach, and I would love to have the ceremony by the beach. However, I'm worried about the lack of privacy as some non-wedding guests might be seen in photos.

The gazebo would seem ideal for privacy purposes, but I feel like I wouldn't be making the most out of the Caribbean feel if we just had it on the gazebo.

RECEPTION

Semi-private vs. private?

Welcome. Try searching for the resort specific thread.  You will be able to find past and present brides who will be able to answer all your questions.  Good luck with your wedding planning!

Congrats and welcome!  For me, I found that it was more important to me to get married on the beach then to worry about people in the background.  But I didn't have any topless or embarrassing nono-guests photo-bombing my pictures.  If I had, maybe I'd have felt differently.

And for the reception, I def suggest private.
