Focus on the good and only bring up the bad to remember how you will not subject your children to that type of behavior. There is inherent good in everyone, it hurts when people can't see that and destroy lives in the process. You will remain in my prayers.

Heidi I have not been on all day so this is the first post I am reading. I wish I had magic words that would make all your pain disappear but I don't. All I can say is that I am terribly sorry for your loss and my condolences goes out to you and your family. I can't even begin to imagine what you are going through but I hope that you will reach that closure and peace that you deserve.

Heidi...I"m so sorry you are going through this. I am the worst at this sort of thing because I bottle up alot of my emotions...but I know you will get through this!! It will be hard and regardless of your recent lack of connection with your father...it will be hard because those good memories will always be there regardless and those are just what you need to hang on to to be at peace!

Heidi, my heart is broken for you, I am so sorry. I wish you had the closure you desperatly needed, I really think you should go to some grief counselling to help you with all of the very mixed emotions you are feeling. I wish there was something positive to say but I can't think of anything other then be thankful for the love you have in Reggie and that beautiful baby of yours, you really are blessed.
