Jamaican Wedding Cake HELP

Ok so thankfully my Fiance and I spent Christmas in Jamaica (I panicked after I got no responses from GPLH resort on my several wedding inquiries and I found the perfect Wedding Planner, location Stylist ect. But this is my delima. I hate Jamaican Wedding Cake. This stuff is like a Black Fruit Rum cake. Do you ladies have any ideas? What do you  think about me taking in my own Wedding Cake? please give me your input or if any of you know of any Bakers in Jamaica?

We used Margaret Myrie for our wedding last July at Moon Dance Villas. There are pics elsewhere on the forum. It tasted FANTASTIC and was so so reasonably priced.

Yes but that seems to be the case with most Jamaican Vendors.

We just recently got engaged but my Brother in Law got married in Jamaica and I believe this is the Cake lady they used and the cake was really good. I dont really care for Fondant but it was actually good. Hope this help
