How did the wedding go?

 

I am just in the process of confirming locations. Having the Welcome Cocktail hour on the beach with the fiesta package, Ceremony on beach, cocktail hour at pool, and reception at papitos.

 

Where did you have your events? and if you had them pool side, did you have randoms walking everywhere?

 

Would love to hear how it went!! i get married there in May 2013.

Hi Ladies,

 

I am wanting to get married in October or November 2013.  I am still debating on location though.   Does El Dorado Maroma allow you to take over a restaurant for private dinner/dance reception?

 

Also - what ceremony locations are available at El Dorado Royale?

There are about a dozen different wedding locations at the Royale. If you click on my profile and go to the photo section, there are photos of all the ceremony and reception sites at the Royale (with the exception of the indoor rooms).

 

I don't know much about the Maroma resort, I have not visited there yet!

We got married at ED Maroma in May of 2012. We also had one child (that family stayed at the Azul 5 resort).   We planned to get married on the beach, but it was raining, so we ended up in the cute chapel on the ED Maroma hotel property. The child was welcome there.  We also had our reception and rehearsal dinner at the Maroma Marina next door because of the child.  It was pretty - a big space.
