Newbie, Moon Palace 2013

Just found out I have over 60 room nights so I get a free 2 hr event. We were originally going to do a cocktail hour, now we are extending it to a 3 hr buffet/music event. We are doing the complimentary package. Does anyone know if they will provide any type of centerpiece or napkins for color? Ive heard conflicting reports

I've heard that they only do white table cloths for the complimentary package. I'm going to do it as cheaply as possible, get the complimentary package and DIY most of my decor and have family lay it out once it's setup. Their prices are just ridiculous!

Agreed! But I also dont want to take bags and bags of decor with me. At HRPC they will give you some things. I think I might wait til I get there. I know there is a Walmart in the area if need be

Just know, their Walmart, Costco and Sam's club are not even close to what you get here. Very limited.

Hi fellow brides, Congratulations to all of you! I JUST booked my wedding for NOV 16/17, 2013 (<--- yes, this year!!!!) at Moon Palace in Riviera Maya/Cancun. I'm full of excitement and of course stress!!!! We have to do a totally last-minute wedding due to family illness and I've taken the plunge. Friends of ours are memebers of the Palace and Hard Rock resorts, so we booked our group through them. Anyway - I need to set up a destination wedding website ASAP. Any recommendations? I'm going shopping for a dress tomorrow (rush delivery please!). What else do I need todo right away? Any tips advice you can offer are much appreciated. Let's see of I can pull this off! I'm know as an amazing hostess and throw unforgettable parties. I want ,y wedding to be grand, and with this deadline, we'll see what happens! Thanks!!!

WOW! Congrats! That's our 2 year anniversary! I have my website through our TA, but I know of many! My favorite that you can "pay" for is: Appy Couple. I really wish I would have just paid the $29, but my invites already went out with my first one, so I think it's too late to change it...

Anyways, good luck and I can't wait to hear about it and see how the "last minute" planning works! What collection are you doing?
