Did you manage to get any alone time after your destination wedding?

Recommended Posts

Our wedding is on a Thursday and our whole group isn't leaving until Sunday so there will be no alone time. We also are traveling with my fiance's 9 year old daughter. We are ok with this and excited to have a 3 day celebration with our guests after the wedding. We are planning to try to take another trip 6 to 9 months after our wedding which will be our official honeymoon. :)

My and my husband will be leaving the day after our wedding abd heading to another resort for our honeymoon. People can stay as long as they want. :-)

Exactly!!! We will be relocating

My fiance and our families are going to the resort where our wedding is for a week.  After they leave, we are hopping over to a different resort for 4 more nights of relaxation and QT!

Our wedding is on a Wednesday and we don't leave until Saturday so I'm sure that we will be seeing everyone after! We are thinking of maybe doing a group activity a few days while we are there for everyone (trip to Tulum or Cozumel or something).  We are going to go on our honeymoon later in the year (I'm a teacher so can't go til the summer if we go!)

I'm more worried just after the ceremony... I really want to have even just 10 minutes alone with my new husband after the ceremony, before we get sucked in on all the photos, hugs and kisses... but don't want to offend anyone. Just really want to stop and look at his face as my husband for the first time. Do you think that's bad?
