Early afternoon wedding?

Hello Brides!

I'm new to this site.  I have found so many things helpful, so thanks so much to all of you who are willing to share your experiences.  I'm wondering if anyone has had an early afternoon wedding scheduled and how the timing of events has worked?  My wedding is May 22, 2012 and I very much wanted a beach wedding.  The only time available was 1pm so I took that.  Now that I am looking at some of the posts, I am wondering about timing of events after the ceremony.  Sounds like there can't be any lag time between things.  Would love to hear any comments or suggestions.  :) GG
