I have heard from many people that the beach is public... I will be getting married in December and was wondering how crowded the beaches are- so much so that I wouldn't want to get married on the beach- especially in December?

I got married at Sandals Montego Bay and to me the beach location was not private. I had heard the same thing before we left and it was true. We arrived 4 days before our wedding so we had a chance to watch other wedding that took place beach and they would have signs that say wedding in progress and people would still walk through anyway. Pretty rude! Even though weddings were going on the beach was still ope to everyone. So we got married at the wedding gazebo with the ocean in the back drop and this area was much better in terms of privacy and it turned out perfect. I wouldn't stress over it, just be sure to ask your WC for pictures of all of the wedding locations and have a backup just in case when you arrive you don't like the beach location.
