Who is doing your hair/makeup in CANCUN?

Recommended Posts

Hi girls,

I have a posted a question similar to this a while back, but I just thought I would see if anyone has any new advice. I found someone I wanted to use for my makeup, but she is in Playa del Carmen, and doesn't travel. I will be at the Gran Caribe Real in Cancun getting ready, so I wanted to see if you girls knew of any hair stylists or makeup artists in Cancun. I definitely do not want to be doing either of these myself...

It's so hard to tell if you like how someone will do your hair and makeup without having tried it, but she claims to have done makeup for 20 years all over the world.

Do the salons do a good job? I'm just worried that there might be a language barrier, and/or that it is not good and then I'm screwed. Any thoughts?

I'm with Jilly on this issue.. i'm having it done in at the resorts spa. I am going next week to my personal stylist here in my hometown to do a "practice" on my hair and makeup.. I will take pictures and then bring the pictures with me to Cancun just in case they don't understand exactly what i want to look like!

Not much help!

Sorry

I've heard to take pictures of what you want done incase the stylist doesn't speak english. I planned on learning some spanish before my wedding, but I haven't gotten started yet.
