Hey!! My wedding date is in October this year and I have a similar issue. How did you make out? What answer did they give you?

We are getting married in October as well! And Katia is our WC...not too far from you either. We are struggling a bit as well. Are you using any outside vendors??

yea but she went through cheap carribbean n it was some low point right after the summertime they were having some sales in all travel sites. My wedding is also on a holiday week (2/23 week of presidents week where a lot of schools have off) and she was the only 1 who lucked out. every1 else paid over 1k for just the weekend. I think she was the only 1 who paid under lol.

No night club...just lobby bar, i heard some people do dance there. but just shows and bars during evening hours. i was hoping for a club also. Theres' Margaritaville right across st. and the clubs r taxi ride or bus ride away.

Let's try that again....even our wedding guests who were not staying at either resort hung out with us at gran caribe into wee hours, after the wedding and reception. By the way our wedding was on 9/4/12. Half the guests stayed at Royal, others at Grab Caribe. About 4 stayed at outside hotels.

Thank you.  I've heard some brides here talk about Margaritaville.  I assume it's walkable right?  Is it a club?

It has been almost a week since I emailed her my first set of questions.  I have not heard back from her

I would call them. Sometimes she even answers the phone. You definitely have to light the fire under her to get what you need. But when she does answer, she can be helpful.

 

How is your planning coming along? Are you visiting the resort beforehand?

I was told before that if one of us is catholic, we can have a ceremony in the chapel. I just saw the paper forwarded to me that 2 baptism certificates are needed to have a catholic ceremony. I'm freaking out now since my FI is not a catholic. Just emailed my WC on this. Sigh.
