2013 Gran Caribe Real/ Royal Cancun Brides

This is by far my favorite shot by Octavio Montes.  I love how he was able to capture a passionate kiss between the two of us. We are a bubbly couple so this type of image is rare for us. Octavio also suggested the pose  :D

The photo quality has been compromised because I took this off a webpage and copy+paste it here. The original file is much much clearer.

Got the video back from the resort. I regret making that decision. Do NOT spend any amount of money on their video packages. I don't know why the guy had a huge camera when the video quality was crap. Our small hand held video was of much much better quality. If you can't afford other videographers, you're better off getting one of your guests and a tripod to hold your video cam than getting the resort's video package.

BTW the resort video people are really nice. Just their job is crap

That's great advice, meowybells! we tell our wedding couples that if photography is important to them, they'll be much happier with investing in a professional.

There are lots of great ones available in our area, so the key is to find the one whose style resonates with you and touches your heart (as well as fits your budget) That's The One for you!

Your memories and the images of your Special Day is what's left after your celebration is over and everyone goes home ...so your choice is important :)

there are no do-overs, however with results like this, there's no need :D

For brides looking a photographers and videographers for your wedding, I used Ivan Luckie for both and I'll say this: he was very nice, but for the 6 months it took to get my pictures, I was expecting a lot more in terms of a "wow factor".  Additionally, my video took 9 months and it was even less impressive--the sound was not consistent throughout, many of the scenes were choppy, and the camera shook a lot making it look unprofessional.  All in all, I would not recommend them for those reasons.
