Negril Escape/ Tensing Pen Reception - Prices

Hello brides!

 

I'm leaning towards having our wedding/ reception at either the Negril Escape or Tensing Pen and am calling on all of you for help!

 

At first, I thought the destination option would be more affordable than having a wedding home however, from the quotes I'm receiving from both the Negril Escape and the Tensing Pen and the resort we are staying at (Riu Negril), it's not looking that way.

 

I realize that this may be off colour but, I am asking any brides with experience at either of these places to either send me a PM or reply and give me an idea of what is a reasonable price per person for dinner costs, open bar, cocktail hour, decor, etc. Anything you can help with that would be great!

 

While I have no idea how flexible these vendors are or if negotiating is even an option, I think knowing other brides experiences will at least help me to determine what is a reasonable cost to pay.

Im getting married at tensing pen.. but staying there as well... from the communitcations ive been having i was under the impression that you can not hold your wedding there if you are not staying at the resort
