December 2012 brides

Hey mcree!! Thanks for the welcome! I guess I'm at about the same spot as you, I've got the booking in place and 42 ppl booked so far. Sent out std in Dec and now I'm about to order the invitations and send those. I've hired the photographers, decided on decor but still need to order it, decided on BM dresses but need to order, And bought my dress too!! My big decisions are done I just need to do some ordering and DIY projects and then I'm ready!! 9 months from today I will marry my love One thing that's a bit on the annoying side is I sent my STD a year prior and just found out some of my family don't know if they are even invited. ....really??? You got a STD with your name on it!! Not to mention 42 ppl figured it out and have booked already! If I were to have a do over I would skip STD and just do invites earlier

Ughh..we're only at 1 couple booked right now not including my FI and myself! I hope people get on the ball with booking because its only 8.5 more months to go!!

 

So far I've sent out my STDS (did that a year from my wedding date), ordered our invites (just awaiting to find out what address I will be at to put an response address, bc we are buying a house currently), booked Moments that Matter for my photography, have my quote for flowers set with Marvin, decor is in process with DecoCancun and so is my quote for an ipod hookup/some lighting. I have also ordered my dress, my bridesmaids dresses, and am going shopping tomorrow with my mom to find her a dress!! Its all coming along soo well..I think this is the most organized Ive ever been!!

Yall are both slamming me.  We sent out STDs about three weeks ago, but we are at zero booking - including ourselves - as of today! JUst to make you feel better, teehee! Ive been slacking, but its time to start back up! I need to get on making my invites this week . . .thanks for the inspiration!  Ladies, our weddings are in less than 9 months.  Yayyyy!

I'm also a December 2012 Bride! Getting married on 12/17/12 at Sunset Jamaica Grande in Ocho Rios!  I send out my STD's last month! We are doing individual bookings instead of group as we believe it will be cheaper in the end as our quotes were so high. So were just waiting for the travel companies. So far we have 15 people that have said they are going! Going to get my dress in June.  When is everyone sending out the actual invites? I have seen websites saying different things and wanted to get other peoples actual opinions.

 

Also, keep posting things that you guys are working on, its great to know for ideas! Has anyone found a good "destination to-do list" most of the ones I have found are for "traditional" weddings.

Welcome to the "December bride club"  lol!  I am in the process of working on my invites, but my travel agents suggested six months or before as a good time to send them out.  I am planning on getting mine out probably at the beginning of May(the 7 month mark) to hopfeully get some rsvps in!!

Hi Girls....wow I'm starting to feel a bit behind schedule! We are getting married Dec 29th, 2012 @ Las Caletas (staying at Dreams Puerto Vallarta). We've booked the resort with our TA, sent out Save the Dates/Invites (not doing separate ones). I haven't bought a dress yet...or bridesmaids dresses! I'm planning on getting mine and the bmaids dresses in May...hope I'm not pushing it too much!).

Hi everyone I'm also a December Bride, I'm getting married on December 22 at Dreams Punta Cana. I feel so behind is not even funny, I just sent the STD's and just found out from my FI that he has more addresses for me to send more STD which means I haven't even sent out all of them.  We haven't done any reservations and I don't even have a travel agents, for what I can see I thing, but please correct me if I'm right, if people just do their own reservation on expedia or whatever they might be able to find a better deal. I been looking at dresses but haven't purchase one yet, I'm giving myself until the end of May to actually purchase my dress, I gave my bridesmaids the color theme and told them to just get a dress that color, they won't have the same design. I'm feel exsusted and I haven't even started with the hard stuff.  might be coming here a lot for help and support ladies so please please please help me out.
