Hello, I am also interested in Barcelo Bavaro Palace Deluxe for our 2013 wedding, but I have not found much info on it and no brides. If anyone has info please share and whatever info I get I will share as well. I emailed the resort and a WC emailed me back the packages and pricing for extra people.

My daughter and I are also planning her destination wedding in 2013 and have the Barcelo Bavaro Palace Deluxe on our radar - looks awesome. I have spoken to our travel agent already and was informed that tour operators such as Air Transat, Sunquest etc also have wedding packages for all the hotspots (including this one)!  The prices are better than dealing direct with the resort - just something to look into   Good luck with your plans, we will watch for future postings.

I am getting married at the Barcelo Palace in Mexico in just 21 days and from my experience in working with AirTransat I have to say I would recommend 100% that you do not book a group with them! It has been ridiculous trying to work with them....sure their prices seemed like the best at the start but now our prices (Bride and Groom) have increased and there is just no explanation given, and here we are just 18 days away from departure and we still have no tickets in hand to travel! As for the Barcelo resort, I have heard wonderful things and can give my feedback on the resort once we return!
