Hi all, I stumbled across this site a couple days ago and wow, there is SO much info to consider! I'm excited since I have picked a date, but now need to narrow down a place. I'm leaning towards the Riviera Maya area of Mexico. Any suggestions on how to pick the perfect spot? Thanks in advance!

Hello and welcome!  I would make a list of what is important to you (size of resort, quality of beach, reception options, etc.) and go through reviews to compile a list of good matches.  Then go from there!

Here are some general links and tips that might make your time here on BDW more enjoyable.

If you have not done so, you may want to:

  • complete your profile (upload a photo, add profile details, etc.)
  • visit the Newbies forum and introduce yourself
  • find the forum for your wedding destination and create a subscription to threads/members/vendors that you are interested in
