Wedding in Grand Cayman?

Has anybody looked into getting married in the Grand Cayman? If you've even took a trip there please tell me your impressions of the island. I'm still searching for my destination.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Grand Cayman Island!! I have been there several times, and it is one of my most favorite travel destinations. We mostly go there to scuba dive, but I am happy to answer any other travel questions you might have

I am going to Grand Cayman in November. My FI's family owns a house there. He loves Grand Cayman!! I will let you know what I think after my trip. The only downside is that it is apparently very expensive.

Welcome to the forum! I visited Grand Cayman once and loved it but only got like a day there (I was on a cruise). Have you watched any of the Travel Channel's reality show on Celebrations' wedding planning (called Weddings Away)? It's great! I'm not sure if they're still showing it but I'd look into that show for some good footage of Cayman weddings. Happy Planning!

I LOVE Grand Cayman. it's beautiful and has amazing snorkeling.

The only issue is that it was hit REALLY hard by the hurricanes. I went there about four years ago... and then I went back there in 2006 after the hurricane. What a difference. The first time I was there you couldn't see across the island. it was lush and beautiful. The second time I could see our cruise ship from the opposite side of the island because most of the palm trees were distroyed. It was still very beautiful and I would still recommend it... but it just wasn't AS nice as it had been.
