her website is: http://staceyclarkephotography.com

I tried posting something and it disappeared so IDK if it'll appear... but as I was saying- I actually booked Stacey a couple of weeks ago and I couldn't be more excited. Everyone who has used her in the past seems very satisfied with her work and loved her. She also pays the resort $300 fee so thats nice! I think you made a great decision bc I know I looked long and hard!

Did you get the dresses from Davids bridal? I saw that colour their! beautiful, I think thats an amazing colour for a destination wedding

and yes, im still shocked how many people we have coming to our wedding lol

yes they are from Davids bridal, We decided on guava and told them they could choose whatever dress they felt the best in :)  I think with the light blue and ocean, and blue lagoon, that color will stand out and mesh well !!  I found fake ones online I'm ordering but not paying a ton for bridemaids bouquets when they will have em for like 30 mins!

I am getting married at the Grand Palladium March 1, 2013.  I am just starting to decide where to have the reception at Blue Lagoon or Poseidons?  Also is there any tips on things to do ahead of time.  I probably shouldn't be worried yet but I cant wait to get there to decide everything.  Thanks for everyone's advice!

Hi everyone, I am getting a little stressed out because my wedding is only about 7 weeks away.  I am not sure who my wedding coordinator is, but I've usually been getting responses from Sharlene, wedding assistant to Erika.  So I guess I am to assume that my wedding coordinator is Sharlene/ Erika?   Is anyone else working with these ladies?

I have a lot of Qs which I haven't gotten answers to so maybe some of you could help me out :)

- How do you select your package details?  Like if I want to add in extras, specify colors, etc?  Do I do it on the Palladium website or do I email or call my wedding coordinator?  Or do I do it when I get to the resort and meet with my coordinator?

- Do you guys have any idea how much groomsmen corsages are?  Bridesmaid bouquets?

- I am having my reception at 6pm at the Blue Lagoon.  I've heard that a loud reggae band starts playing at 9pm.  Is it worth it for me to get a DJ or a steel drum band, or do you think it will be drowned out by the reggae band?

- If I book a musician for the ceremony, does the fee include having the musician at the reception?  Or do I have to pay more?

- How much is an outside vendor?  I am bringing in a hairstylist and makeup artist in the morning and they will leave right after they finish.

Thanks so much ladies!  And happy planning :)

Hi jasminesc,

I have also been in contact with Sharlene/Erika, and have received responses fairly quickly (3 - 7 days).  Unfortunately I don't have many answers to your questions, except I have heard that an outside vendor is $300 per day.  Certain vendors (photographers) may pay for this fee, or include it in your package price.  Just ask them about it.  As far as your musicians are concerned, I believe they charge hourly.  I read on someone's post that the reggae band at 9 PM is very loud, so the wedding toasts and speeches were difficult for everyone to hear.

I hope this helps!

I am getting married March 11, 2013. I am just starting now to look into photographers. The wedding package we selected says it includes "Wedding Portraits". Would this be done by True Colours Photography? What if we booked a different photographer? I just browsed Stacey Clarke's work and it's beautiful. The other thing I can't seem to find is pricing...

Hi ladies:)

We are getting married on January 31, 2013 in the Gazebo @ 4pm.  Private reception to follow at the Poiseidon, as I have heard the same thing about the loud reggae band starting around 9pm.

I actually just received an email from my WC, who is Nekeisha:)

I have chosed the Waves of Love package, as my bridesmaids dresses are a light aqua/mint color, and flowers will be very deep/vibrant purple.  I am most likely going to have small bouquets made for them, as well as the corsages/boutinierres (sp?) for the guys, however wasn't sure what to really do for my own bouquet?  I was thinking mainly white with a hint of the aqua & purples in with it...

I was just planning on bringing an Ipod docking station down for our music...but I really don't like the idea of someone having to constantly monitor it & change it...plus I only have a total of 29-ish people attending, 8 of which are part of the bridal party so it's not a huge amount.

I'm having a hard time with figuring out centerpieces too...I already feel like I'm going to be bringing way too much luggage with me, so I'd like something light...a few people have mentioned using the bridesmaid bouquets and putting them in vases, that's a good idea, and i have a few packages of those expanding water bead things, so maybe that will be the way to go:)

Does anyone have any experience with their hairdresser?  I have super long, fine hair and I'm so scared that it will be completely flat & gross looking by the time I walk down the aisle...what time should I be scheduling a hair appointment for if my wedding is at 4:00?

Anyway, looking forward to hearing more peoples thoughts & ideas!

Hi.  We will be there when you get married :)   We are getting married March 8th.  We are staying the 5th through the 12!.  So exciting.  To answer your question, the package indeed comes with photos from true colors.  I believe you can wave them and have your own photographer or have the free pictures from true colors plus use your own photographer.  Some brides have loved their pics from True colors (the free ones) and some have hated them.

We are just going with the wedding package photos and having my sister take the rest.  fingers crossed.
