Steel Band is amazing! But if you choose to have other songs playying as well, its not worth it. They rushed me out of the ceremony so we didnt hear the steel band for an hour. I also wanted other music inbetween, walking down the aisle after we were married and while we signed the papers.) Overall i didnt feel like $350.00 was worth it considering We didnt even get our full hour!!

I had 18 epople and we choose a sitdopwn private dinner.  All the restaurants on good depending what you like!

my advice if you dont like cts dont choose the italian.

Chelsea,

The steel drum band played at the ceremony? When you say other music do you mean music you brought? Or you wanted the dteel drum band to play at that time? Did you give them a list of songs you wanted them to play?

We plan on using them for our ceremony and were hoping they would play for the whole hr and the whole time except when we are doing our vows of course. I was only going to request a song for when I was walking down the aisle and other then that i was just going to have them play whatever they liked. Did you request all your songs? You say you paid 350? I thought it was $500?

For those that already got married or those that were thinking about the idea, did anyone find out if we were allowed to do the chinese sky lanterns at GP?

Hey Lene,

Recently asked my coordinator Lorraine if we could have sky lanterns at our welcome party at the Atrium and she said they are allowed.

For those of you that are already married-did you do a cocktail reception? Where did you do it? Did it include food? Was it private? My corrdinator just sent me all of our forms to complete and I need to fill this portion out, I didn't even consider this and am not sure what my options even are.....

We got married in January and used the onsite photography @ grand palladium (true colors photography). Big mistake. They are unorganized, hard to find, and way overpriced! They wasted the whole time taking the same pictures, we got no variety in shots they took. They took pictures of people who weren't even a part of our wedding group! We were promised over 250 photos edited on a CD and they ended up giving us only 164! And most of those pictures were many duplicates, well more like 5 of the same shot. Of course we had to pay upfront and didn't get our pictures til the day before we left so there wasn't much we could do about this disappointment since they had already charged our credit card and we were leaving. Shows that's why they make you pay way ahead so they don't care if you are unhappy with the results. Save yourself the huge expensive and get one of your guests with a nice camera to take pictures for you and it will be equivalent if not better than these "professional photographers". However, we did see other couples with nice photos so maybe it was just our photographer. Don't use Dwayne or his assistant "smiley" aka the guy who never smiles lol. When they ask you to write a list of shots you want taken, be VERY specific. You pretty much have to list every detail for them to get it right.
