Ring Holder?

I have been on the search for a cool ring holder for my nightstand and everything I find is kind of old-fashioned looking or very traditional (waterford crystal, etc).

 

I found this one this morning at Macy's

I think that glass one is really cool. What about doing a search for hand carved, ceramic, pewter, mosaic, etc..ring holders. I bet you could find some really unique artistic ones. I'll go on a search now...

We go to paint your own pottery places all the time. FI painted my ring holder the last time we went. It is perfect, and it was only like $10. I will have to take a picture and post it.

We just used a sea shell and I liked that.. I have also seen a cute small jewely box, filled with sand and the rings being placed in there..

I love it...very cool! I have one of those Lenox ones, it's pretty traditional. To be honest, I never even knew ring holders existed! My friend gave me it as an engagement present and I was like "uh...what is this?"

I had found a plain stainless one, but all I could think about was the noise it would make when I placed the ring on there - that it would be like nails on a chaulkboard!
