Help..I don't know where to start.

I want to get married in Punta Cana in early 2013. I am just not sure where to start. I know how to search for all inclusive vacations but not sure how to understand any specials or different wedding packages. I can go to a travel agent but I like to look at things myself a bit before. I want to have some idea what I am looking at before I start bugging them. If anyone has any tips for me it would be appreciated.
