Is anyone else as mad as I am

This story saddens me.

It's baffling that in this day and age, racism is still alive and thriving.

I am so glad Mychal Bell's conviction was overturned on Friday. However, he still sits in jail.

The fact that Jena has trees deemed for only whites, or any certain race, is disgusting and appalling.

Racism is such a stupid, stupid thing.

we say that because we werent raised in it. In my neighborhood which very diverse it is discouraging to listen to the kids disrespect the seniors of 80+ who mind has taken back to childhood and may call one of them gal or fellow. My neighbor once told me I was not like them Im different . I just said thank you. she is 65 with the onset of alzheimers so I didnt get offended but the neighbors said I would not take that from her I would have cussed her out. For what she didnt mean anything by it.

Yet you call each other the N word and it is suppose to be ok.

I can not deal.

Thanks for providing contact information. I will definitely sit down and write a letter in support. I think it's about time Americans step up and stop allowing these injustices to continue. I of course knew racism still existed, but I had no idea our law allowed incidences like this to go unchallenged. It's sickening.

WEAR BLACK ON SEPT. 20

Mark this day in your book. Michael Baisden is asking all to attend the

sentencing of the Jena 6, Louisiana young black boys on September 20,

2007. These boys can go to prison for life behind a high school fight

against white students. This is serious family, and could be any one of

our youths. If you are unable to show up and send a message about

Racism, then Michael Baisden is asking all to wear Black that day for

Unity and say a silent or loud prayer for those young men who are

fighting racism on behalf of us all.

Pass this important news to everyone. Spread the word.
